At D3 Insurance Group, we take pride in being independent and having the freedom to partner with our clients to design personalized solutions instead of just putting them into policies. The fact is, we value relationships over everything. We focus on protecting individuals and businesses we serve from risk so they can sleep better at night, knowing they are well covered against losses - both today and in the future. We want to be valued partners who work hard to earn our client’s trust and confidence daily. For D3 Insurance Group, it’s about demonstrating a higher level of care.
We are headquartered in Amarillo, Texas, with two other locations in Denton and Gainesville. We can service clients in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, and Colorado.
Meet Our Team
Rex Young
President
Being raised as a coach’s kid, Rex had the opportunity to live in a few communities. This gave him a diverse background and the ability to build relationships. From East Texas to the Texas Panhandle, Rex has many friends and enjoys being involved in the community. Rex and Julie live in Amarillo, Texas. He is heavily involved in The Kindness Revolution, which spreads joy, kindness, and empathy as the community outreach. His philosophy is “Bring sunshine to the lives of others. Sunshine will come back to you”.
Attended Phillips High School, where he graduated in 1985. Played college basketball at Frank Phillips College and then West Texas State University. Rex received his Bachelor of Science Degree from West Texas State University.
After college, Rex married Julie, and they have been together for 31 years. They have two amazing kids. Jantzen Young Nix graduated from Texas Tech University and lives in Dallas. Jarrett Young graduated from Parsons School of Design and lives in New York City. The other member of the family is their precious sheepadoodle, Fancy.
Rex has been in the insurance business for 25 years. He built the largest Allstate agency in the Texas Panhandle before selling the businesses. Decided to go Independent to help more people and have better options for the customers. He views his career as being in the relationship business. He loves people, wants to help his clients, and mentor others in business. D3 Insurance Group is a special organization, and the team is second to none.
Brock Sherwood
Vice President
Brock lives in Canyon, TX, with his wife of 15 years, Haylee, and their four children, Blakelee, Westyn, Knox, and Scottye. He loves to hunt and fish any chance he gets and is an avid reader. Brock and Haylee are involved in their church, Hillside Canyon, and love attending Canyon High School and WTAMU athletics.
Brock grew up in Panhandle, TX, and graduated from Panhandle High School. He then graduated from Abilene Christian University, where he played and coached football.
Brock has been a financial advisor for the past 12 years and loves helping his clients plan for the future. In addition, he has been involved in the insurance side of the business for the past two years and believes deeply in the D3 Process.
Stephanie Musick
Vice President
Stephanie grew up in Southwest Kansas and always wanted to live in Texas. She told her sister early on that she was moving to Texas and marrying John Travolta after watching Urban Cowboy. She was raised by incredible parents, and Stephanie is family oriented. She married Cory and has two handsome and onery boys. Stephanie is obsessed with dachshunds, and she is referred to as Crazy Doxie Lady. Stephanie lives in Amarillo, Texas.
Stephanie loves life and is a positive person. She enjoys making people laugh and feels laughter is the best medicine. Stephanie grew up singing and performing. The love of music came from her parents, who exposed her to everything from Motown to Merle Haggard. Stephanie graduated from West Texas A and M with her bachelor’s in music business.
Stephanie has been in the insurance business for ten years. She loves her job and helping others. She feels eternally blessed with her profession and the people she works with daily — the best thing about living in the Panhandle.
Dustin Webb
Vice President
Dustin has been married to his wife Kara for ten years, they have two boys, Cooper and Case, and live in Canyon, TX. Dustin and his family like anything outdoors and enjoy most sports and sporting events. They are very active members at Saint Stephen Church in Amarillo.
Dustin grew up in Wellington, TX, and then attended West Texas A&M University, where he played football and majored in Engineering Technology.
After college, Dustin worked at BNSF Railway from 2004-2020, where he started as a Conductor and then held various Management positions. In 2018, Dustin won BNSF Employee of the Year and an Achievement Award for managing and overseeing a multi-million-dollar expansion project in Amarillo.
In 2020, Dustin realized that he was passionate about helping people and set on a new adventure. He became the Owner of Dustin Webb Agency - Allstate in Pampa, TX. In 3 short years, Dustin understood the commitment to helping clients achieve their immediate and long-term goals and knew he wanted to do more.
In 2023, Dustin was blessed with the opportunity to become a partner with D3 Insurance Group. With the D3 Team, Dustin is excited to continue the commitment to serving clients on a much larger scale, and provide a wide array of options for personal, business, and financial futures.
